    Visits can be adapted for Science studies. Working steam engines demonstrate the principles of forces and motion. Water meadows, including the river Rattlesden, offer the opportunity to study Ecological Processes and Life Processes & Living Things.

Education resource pack available to use in school and as part of a visit, including:
   
      * KS2 Sight (How horses see and Blinkers); Sound (How horses hear and The language of ears); Materials (Protective clothing and Materials in the practical gallery); Teeth; and Nutrition (Healthy diet).    
      * KS3 Skeleton (Comparison of human & horse and Willie Carson's Bones); Food and Digestion (Digestive system and Food's journey); Movement (Centre of gravity); and Nutrition (Horse's diet and Jockey's diet).    
  * Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum    
    During a visit studies can be made on the science of flight. Aircraft collections date from c.1910 and comprehensively reflect the progress of aviation throughout the decades of the 20th century.    
  * Sutton Hoo    
      * KS2 Sutton Hoo Book can be guided or self-guided. It is an activity incorporating elements Physical processes. A book publisher would like to commission the class to produce a book about Sutton Hoo. Groups work on different activities each of which culminates in the production of part of the book.
